We’ve created a beautiful space just for you. As you’d expect its fun, colourful, bright, quirky and above all, it’s accessible.

Appointments are made up to 8 weeks in advance, Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays available.
the experience…
A member of staff will then measure you for your ideal length of walking stick. You can try this length in every handle shape. You can try different lengths too and see how they feel. This is your opportunity to see every colour and style we have, ask questions, take selfies and you may even get a sneak peek at some new colours too, but ssshhhhh, don’t tell. Check out our stylish accessories and pick something perfect to go with your new look. Handmade straps, snoods, t shirts, umbrellas, extenders, ice grips…there’s lots to choose from.
Once you’ve said ‘Yes to the stick or sticks’ you can head into York or maybe go for lunch at one of our friendly local cafés while you wait for your bespoke walking stick to be made. It will be ready to collect after 3pm, but why not give us your phone number and we will text you when it is ready. You will then take your stick away in a complementary dust bag (worth £15), to keep your stick safe and shiny for longer.
If for any reason you can’t come back to collect your order, don’t worry, we will post it out to you for next day delivery free of charge.
If you choose an engraved collar or a T handle light up stick there will be a delay in sending out your order, usually of around 5 days.
We understand you may only wish to come to be measured and to take a look at the gorgeous colours. So why not book the half hour measure and browse for £20. You can bring friends to be measured and look for £15 per extra guest. Make it a road trip!
If you are ordering your stick for a special occasion that may involve different shoes, heels etc, please remember to bring those shoes with you for the measuring. Otherwise please just wear your usual every day shoes on the day.
We hope the experience with us is unforgettable, for all the right reasons. If you are bringing someone for an occasion such as a birthday, we can even have a bunch of flowers or a beautiful handmade cake ready for you to celebrate. Just let us know how, and we will make your time with us as special as you are to us.

Terms and Conditions
…the boring bit
- Only one person per appointment will be measured and have stick/sticks made for them. If you have more than one person requiring the experience please book an extra appointment.
- Guests are welcome but please bring no more than 4 people to the appointment.
- If you would like us to wear a face mask during the appointment please let us know at the time of booking.
- If for any reason you can’t make your appointment you will be able to rebook another date.
- Cancellations made up to 3 days before the appointment date can be refunded or rebooked.
- Cancellations made less than 3 days before the appointment will be offered rebooking only.
- The visit does not include workshop tours as there is machinery and tools in use, and we are a working facility.
- Please respect that we are not medical professionals and do not give medical advice.
